Fiona is filling a casual vacancy on the Board of Minda, bringing significant experience in the disability and aged care sectors as a clinician, manager and quality manager.

Working as a Speech Pathologist in Melbourne and Adelaide, Fiona has held roles as a senior clinician, the manager of an allied health team for young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities and was the first Quality Manager at Novita Children's Services.

Having worked within a hospital environment and in community services organisations in improvement leadership roles, Fiona is currently the Manager, Quality and Consumer Services at RDNS Social Care (previously known as Domiciliary Care).

With a focus on strategic planning and reporting, quality improvement and clinical and corporate governance, Fiona has extensive experience in clinical practice approaches to meet customer needs.

This includes the introduction of customer equipment incident analysis, which was recognised as a leading national approach in quality and safety delivery at the Australian Rehabilitation Assistive Technology Association Conference in 2014.

Fiona has also been recognised for advanced quality accreditation processes and brings significant experience in organisational policy and procedure development and review and in the development and expansion of innovative therapy services.
