A Minda and SA Group Enterprises Commercial business, Blend Creative is a graphic design studio unique from any other. The multi-service graphic design agency has been providing real work opportunities to designers with disability since 1990.
The team, headed by Account Director Monique Russell, recently located from its former site at Bedford Park to a fantastic new location within our Commercial Enterprises hub at Reynella.
The team immediately put their design skills into action at their new site, adding original graphic illustrations to windows and conceptual artworks to the walls.
“The result is a space that matches our ethos – creative, dynamic, energetic and fun,” Monique says.
“The windows feature graphics that were made for our Say Kitchen exhibition back before COVID-19 hit in March, with the team wanting to show how those graphics could be used in an installation. In the two months since we’ve been in (at Reynella), we’ve had interest from clients in this work.”
Blend Creative undertakes work for a range of government and private sector clients both within SA and nationally.
Among the supported employees on the Blend production team is Thomas. “My favourite part is coming up with logo concepts for businesses, using my creativity and exploring things that are a bit out there!” Thomas says.
