Launching our RAP

Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was officially launched on Friday October 25, signifying Minda’s commitment to promoting diversity and greater inclusion of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community across all areas of the organisation.

The event included a traditional Kaurna welcome and smoking ceremony performed by Kaurna representatives Allan and Corey, and raising of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags by Minda customer Maria with help from Envirocare team members. Also in attendance was our RAP artist Lorelle Hunter and a group from Karrarendi.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags will now fly with the Australian flag onsite at Minda Brighton, symbolic of our commitment to reconciliation.
