Active Support

The Active Support Team provides accommodation support for individuals living in units on campus with the focus on supporting those with similar needs. Most of the units have been refurbished and sub-divided to specialise in supporting individuals where there is a high emphasis on:

  • programming for skill maintenance
  • addressing individuals’ health support needs
  • supporting individuals with dual diagnosis
  • developing behaviour support plans
  • providing individuals with community based social and recreational options

All of the units adhere to the principles of partial participation, with individuals encouraged to make lifestyle choices in all aspects of their lives. This service is comprised of :
