Minda aims to enable individuals to live in the community of their choice, whether that means helping them remain in their family home, a community group home or residing at our Brighton campus.

Encompassing community housing, respite, aged care services, social health, vacation care and tenancy support, Minda’s residential services provides accommodation services and support to well over 500 South Australians with intellectual disability.

Minda is in the process of building new homes to further facilitate a reduction in the State’s Urgent Accommodation Waiting List (UAWL). These community homes provide individuals with an opportunity to live independently in a community setting that promotes skills and emotional growth whilst accessing the services and social interaction afforded to others in the community.
