Envirocare

Envirocare is a growing group of employees with a disability who provide a vital service in looking at ways to clean up, fix up and conserve our local environment.
Currently, the Envirocare crew is made up of 20 supported employees from Minda who form two mobile patrols. The first patrol is contracted to the City of Holdfast Bay to keep the beaches and coastal parts of the City rubbish free for the many locals and tourists who visit these beautiful spots. This is a long term approach taken to effectively tackle environmental problems along the coastline.
The second crew services community homes and small businesses, undertaking general garden maintenance including lawn mowing, pruning and rubbish removal .
